Under the heading \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zh.sia.ch\/node\/510\">Engineering profession \u2013 competencies, requirements today and tomorrow<\/a>\u201d, current positions on the job profile will be exchanged and the role of engineers in a changing planning and fee culture and society will be discussed. We appreciate this public debate on the engineering profession as an important input for the ongoing evaluation and classification of our everyday activities.<br \/>\nHow can the engineer as a rather \u201csilent service provider\u201d present his manifold competencies in a better way?
