A building, which is shielded from the hustle and bustle on the lakeside by hedges and masonry walls.<br \/>\nThe owner, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allreal.ch\/nc\/en\/home\/\">Allreal<\/a>, is now planning to modernise the building (built in 1974) by 2023 and to extend it with a publicly accessible restaurant directly on Lake Zurich. A corresponding study assignment ended with a surprisingly positive result for L\u00fcchinger+Meyer. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luechingermeyer.ch\/project\/sanierung-geschaeftshaus-bellerivestrasse-36-zuerich-1\/\">project<\/a> by the Danish office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cfmoller.com\/\"><span style=\"display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: #ffffff; color: #333333; cursor: text; font-family: Georgia,'Times New Roman','Bitstream Charter',Times,serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: left; text-decoration: none; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px;\">C.F. M\u00f8ller Architects<\/span><\/a> was recommended for further development. Our structural engineers supported the design work. The second place was awarded to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luechingermeyer.ch\/project\/geschaeftshaus-bellerivestrasse-36-zuerich-2\/\">proposal<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meierhug.ch\/\">Michael M\u00fcller Marius Hug Architekten<\/a>. Civil engineers and facade planners of L\u00fcchinger+Meyer were involved in this project.<br \/>\nBoth proposals were praised by the jury. C. F. M\u00f8ller\u2019s design succeeds in finding a convincing solution for the task in hand through &#8220;a differentiated examination of the requirements&#8221;.
