The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unispital-basel.ch\/en\/\">University Hospital Basel<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unibas.ch\/en.html\">University of Basel<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bs.ch\/en.html\">Canton of Basel-Stadt<\/a> are attending together a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unispital-basel.ch\/medien\/medienmitteilungen\/details\/article\/das-generationenprojekt-campus-gesundheit-wird-konkret\/?cHash=f76105188a7669682e80f2833405997d\">Press conference<\/a> providing information about the future Plans for the development of the hospital area. Already the announcement of the key figures clearly shows the ambition the building project appertains to.<br \/>\nIn terms of duration and budget, those responsible are shouldering a project of superlatives: In the next two decades investments around 1.4 billion Swiss francs will be devoted into the expansion and modernization of the hospital site as part of an ongoing construction process.<br \/>\nThe first construction phase between 2022 and 2028 entangles the construction of the new tower and the Clinic 2 annex building.
