Nevertheless, there are good reasons why we are heading for a hospital building with joy and curiosity on two weekends in September and October. The former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luechingermeyer.ch\/en\/project\/umnutzung-felix-platter-spital-basel-2\/\">Felix Platter Hospital<\/a> opens its doors as the new &#8220;Miteinanderhaus&#8221; on the Westfeld in Basel. Following the motto &#8220;conversion instead of demolition&#8221;, an exemplary model project has been realised here by transforming the listed building into a residential house.<br \/>\n&#8220;Ship ahoy!&#8221; &#8211; the title of the event combines the majestic shape of the building and the spirit of optimism of the future users: On Saturday, 24 September 2022, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wohnen-mehr.ch\/\">building cooperative wohnen&amp;mehr<\/a> invites you to discover the new rooms. The best way to do this is via the cascade staircase that runs through the entire building &#8211; from the spacious foyer to the roof terrace.
