As an essential building block of the master plan for the development of the entire site, the building will accommodate a broad mix of uses as a true all-rounder. Ambulatory clinical care, operating theatre, public restaurants, bed wards and areas for tertiary health care are planned. The suitable project partners for the realisation of the building project were identified in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luechingermeyer.ch\/en\/project\/erweiterungsbau-h08-kantonsspital-st-gallen\/\">planning selection process<\/a>. The assessment committee unanimously came unanimously to the conclusion &#8220;that the general planning team of <a href=\"https:\/\/schneiderschneider.ch\/\">Schneider &amp; Schneider Architekten<\/a> offers the most convincing solution to the task at hand\u201d. This also pleases the involved structural engineers from L\u00fcchinger+Meyer.<br \/>\nThe design team saw ensuring the greatest possible flexibility of use as a key to the planned multifunctionality of the building. &#8220;The structural system allows for maximum flexibility in the development of interior fit out.
