Let’s get it straight: No, we did not manage a second summer fairy tale, the title was not defended. The cherished trophy of the Zurich Architects’ Football Tournament<\/a>, which graced our reception for a year, has been passed on – congratulations! – to the current title holder, the Hochbauamt Kanton Z\u00fcrich. But once again, our team thrilled everyone at the 18th edition of the tournament with its strong performances and we enjoyed a carefree summer sports event in the good company of many architects with whom we (used to) work on a number of projects in everyday life. Our team was only defeated in a dramatic penalty thriller in the quarter-finals.
\nThe preliminary round in the well-balanced Group A produced thrilling duels with a varied track record. We won against Rimini Calcio, VOGT and in the prestigious clash with the second engineering team of the tournament, Basler & Hofmann.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
