In the coming years, a new urban building block with predominantly residential use will be created here, possibly supplemented by a cantonal school. A study commission explored the possibilities for developing the site. We are delighted that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luechingermeyer.ch\/en\/project\/areale-artoz-und-zeughaus-lenzburg\/\">project<\/a> developed by the team led by \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/galli-rudolf.ch\/de\">Galli Rudolf Architekten<\/a>\u2019 won over the jury. \u201cThe judging panel is convinced that an outstanding project has been found that blends in perfectly with the surrounding neighbourhoods in terms of urban planning, open space, and architecture and optimally meets the high requirements for a high-quality, mixed-use neighbourhood building block with a wide range of residential options and a high quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The abandoned commercial site \u2018Artoz\u2019 and the neighbouring area around the former armoury on the western edge of the town of Lenzburg are about to transform.
