{"id":42236,"date":"2025-08-22T17:29:49","date_gmt":"2025-08-22T15:29:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lmp-ing.ch\/papillon\/"},"modified":"2025-08-28T11:31:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-28T09:31:21","slug":"papillon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lmp-ing.ch\/en\/papillon\/","title":{"rendered":"Papillon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In collaboration with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.d4aa.ch\/\">D4 atelier d&#8217;architecture<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planeoconseils.ch\/\">Planeo conseils<\/a>, the Lausanne-based structural engineers have won first place in the competition for the Ch\u00e2tel-Saint-Denis triple sports hall and swimming centre for the Veveyse <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fr.ch\/de\/ilfd\/gema\/app\/acom_entites\/NTAwMDAwMC0xNzky\">ASSCOV<\/a> municipal association. With its striking wooden hall structures, the \u2018Papillon\u2019 project will become a future landmark of the Plaine de Lussy.<br \/>\nWe are delighted with the jury&#8217;s verdict, which explicitly praises the design&#8217;s constructive and structural concept.<br \/>\nThe sports complex comprises several units for various sports such as swimming, gymnastics, climbing and weight training. These are arranged around a central axis where the technical rooms and traffic routes converge. The supporting structure follows this programmatic layout with different materials, cross-sections and axial spacing. Each unit is optimised and has its own structural identity, adapted to the dimensions of the space and its use.
