The area is set to be transformed into a high-quality residential development with attractive commercial spaces on the ground floor, thereby enhancing the surrounding urban space. This development was the subject of an architectural design competition.<br \/>\nThe <em>Extra Moenia<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lmp-ing.ch\/en\/project\/entwicklung-bruehlmann-areal-schaffhausen\/\">project<\/a>, developed by the team led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.giulianihoenger.ch\/de\">Giuliani H\u00f6nger Architekten<\/a>, with the structural engineers from L\u00dcCHINGER MEYER PARTNER as part of the design team, was awarded 2nd prize.
