The current issue is devoted to the Swiss (steel) construction process and has got two readable reports about the Prix Acier-winning buildings. The inclined reader also discovers our multilateral <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luechingermeyer.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/Stab_1218_OYM-Cham_RFU_MKU.pdf\">story<\/a> &#8220;Long-span, stacked, and hybrid \u2013 the load-carrying structure of the OYM\u201d to the sporty <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luechingermeyer.ch\/project\/oym-kompetenzzentrum-fuer-spitzenathletik-und-forschung-cham\/\">project<\/a> in Cham. The authors Reto Furrer and Matthias Kunze present in detail the complexity of the building, explain the connections between the design of the structure and the mixture of uses, describe the various selected systems, their structural design and the assembly. Numerous graphics and photographs from the construction site illustrate the story.
