On Saturday evening, the players of the Swiss national team hung up their football boots at the European Championships; on Sunday morning, the Zurich footballers put on theirs. Kick-off for the 19th Architects’ Football Tournament in Wollishofen. The rolling and stationary balls will continue to dominate the game in July 2024. As always, a team from LÜCHINGER MEYER PARTNER also faced off in the duels against the other planners. Since winning the title in 2022, the expectations and motivation of our footballers have been exceptionally high. Unfortunately, we lacked the necessary luck this year. Too often, the goalkeeper’s crossbar, a goalkeeper’s hand or an opponent’s foot stood in the way of scoring a goal. In the end, one win and one draw were not enough to reach the final round.
