Every summer, the blue and golden stars shine as the “best architects awards” are bestowed. In 2026, this renowned award celebrates a milestone: for the 20th time, outstanding architectural achievements across the German-speaking region will be recognized. This year’s jury included Nicolas de Courten, Lilli Pschill, and Thomas Steimle.
We are proud that three projects among the award-winning buildings involved the structural and façade planning team from LÜCHINGER MEYER PARTNER. Congratulations to our esteemed architectural partners on their well-deserved honors!
The Austrasse residential complex in Zurich received a “best architects 26 award in Gold” in the category of “Residential Buildings/Multi-family Housing.” Our façade specialists once again supported the design efforts of Michael Meier and Marius Hug Architekten.
The jury also awarded blue stars to Markus Schietsch Architekten for the new Office for Consumer Protection in the Canton of Aargau (Office & Administrative Buildings) and to Weyell Zipse Architekten for the Guggach school complex (Educational Buildings). In both projects, LMP took charge of developing the structural framework.
