Las Vegas arrives to Lausanne
With Red carpet and white tablecloths. Last Thursday, on the 18th of September, the future Grand Casino Prilly presented for the first time a glimpse of the splendour and character for the days to come. The reason for this festive atmosphere was the topping out ceremony. Located opposite of the Vaudoise Arena in a former administrative building, the Casino has completed the transformation of its Main Structure and a “Vaud fir tree” was placed on its scaffolding. After several months of demolition, reinforcement and underpinning work, the building is beginning its second life, which will be converted into a leisure and entertainment venue.
In a majestic space, a “cathedral of wood”, the HRS Real Estate project management teams organised a banquet in honour of all the participants, the workers, the political actors and the decision-makers of the project. It was a moment of warm thanks for the efforts of all the companies that worked on the site.
