Just a few weeks after the Zurich Cantonal Architecture Award was presented, the jury of its city counterpart also decided to honour the Leutschenbach high-rise ensemble. On the evening of 2 October, the project received the award for good buildings in the city of Zurich alongside nine other winners. For around 80 years, the best properties have been regularly honoured and discourse on the development of the cityscape has been stimulated. The planners at LÜCHINGER MEYER PARTNER are delighted with the outcome of this year’s award ceremony. The award-winning WolkenWerk complex was created with our active support in the area of structural engineering. In addition, the Hofwiesenstrasse housing estate on the Guggach site in Zurich, where we have been involved in the planning of the structural and facade designs since winning the competition, was also recognised.
