LMP on the ball
For the second time, the global conference series Zak World of Façades is coming to Copenhagen. Tomorrow, 19 November, an international audience of experts will gather in the Danish capital to discuss the latest developments and trends in façade design and technology. We are delighted that Philippe Willareth, Head of Façades and Lightweight Construction at LÜCHINGER MEYER PARTNER, has once again been invited to speak. Accompanied by expert partners, he will present examples from our research and project work on two occasions.
The first presentation, «High-End Glass Structures, Glass Hybrids, Glass Re-Use» will begin at 10:10 a.m. and will focus on our re-use and on-use projects Herostrasse Zurich and PER 10 Fribourg. Research partner Enrico Cutri from Dow will then provide additional information on silicone, a material that played an important role in both projects.
A «home game» follows in Session 2 at 11:50 a.m. Together with Caroline Krogh Andersen from Cobe, Philippe will present the Opera Parken Pavilion, a highly acclaimed new building in the host city that impresses with maximum transparency and minimum use of resources.
