The redesign and expansion of the bus terminal serve to enhance the design and functionality of Schwerzenbach station square. The identity-creating bus roof consists of a fair faced concrete structure whose ceiling is reinforced by a girder system. Seven column discs support the roof, each founded on four driven micro-piles with a pile cap. The use of hollow elements (Cobiax) in the reinforced concrete slab led to a reduced weight.
