LÜCHINGER MEYER PARTNER is a leading engineering firm specialising in façade and timber construction projects. We work throughout Switzerland and internationally as part of outstanding design teams alongside leading architectural firms for discerning clients.
For our office in Madrid we are looking for a:
Business Development & Project Manager – Façade Engineering (m/f/d) 80-100%
Purpose of the Role
The role actively drives the development of the façade engineering business, acquires new projects and clients, and independently manages complex projects to successful completion. You will play a key role in market development and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Business development (approx. 40 %)
- Developing relationships with architects, consultants, investors, clients and contractors
- Identifying new business opportunities and supporting market development in Spain and the EU
- Preparing proposals, fee calculations, presentations and tender submissions
- Representing the company at client meetings and industry events and expanding our professional network
Project Management (approx. 60 %)
- Managing complex façade and lightweight structures projects across all project phases
- Taking technical, scheduling and financial responsibility for projects
- Developing innovative concepts with architects and specialist consultants
- Preparing tender documents and supporting contract award processes
Your Profile
- Degree in façade engineering, architecture, civil engineering or a related discipline
- Several years of experience leading façade or lightweight structures projects
- Experience in business development, project management and client relations
- Entrepreneurial, communicative and confident in negotiations
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Fluent in English and Spanish; German or French is an advantage
