… is revealed to us in the drone photos by Emma Koessler (Photodrone.pro). Switzerland’s tallest hybrid-wood high-rise, with its unique facades, now stands unveiled as a striking landmark of the Malley district. The structural and facade engineers at LÜCHINGER MEYER PARTNER celebrate with joy and pride the successful completion of the iconic “Woodscraper.” The Tilia Tower© is not only an 85-meter-tall residential high-rise but also a testament to diverse collaborative engineering, innovative design, and meticulous and swift execution.
A tall tower with a small ecological footprint: The designers purposefully implemented the client’s ambitious sustainability goals. In the area of structural engineering, this was achieved in particular through the development of a hybrid wood-concrete skeleton structure and the use of recycled concrete and Eco3 cement for the construction of the massive base.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks for the collaborative partnership with all project participants during five unforgettable years of the Tilia Tower!
