When the route from Bucheggplatz to Irchel suddenly stretches to 114.77 km, the Ice Saints take a break, and sportswear dominates the trams and buses across the city of Zurich – it’s SOLA time!
Our office also sent a team to the starting line again last Saturday. Colleagues from Lucerne, Zurich and Madrid, along with motivated friends, started under the name ‘LMP – Laufen mit Plan’ (Running with a plan) with start number 715. On nimble SOLA feet, the 14 runners completed the total distance in 9:43:38 hours and, finishing in 293rd place, secured a position in the top third of the final rankings among the 1,076 teams that took part. Well done! Three LMP sprinters even managed to achieve a top-hundred finish in their individual distances.
