Review, outlook, jubilees

The ‘office retreat’ is a focal point of our annual agenda, which we usually organise as an external all-day event with all employees. As our four-day anniversary trip in September already offered plenty of opportunity for dialogue and interaction, this year we limited ourselves to a shortened ‘light’ edition in the Zurich office, which our employees from Lucerne, Lausanne and Madrid followed as guests on site or digitally.
As always, a detailed review of the past twelve months by Daniel Meyer formed the informative centrepiece of the retreat. A collective reflection on what we have achieved together. In the 30th year of Lüchinger+Meyer’s existence, we were delighted to receive numerous awards, project and competition successes, shared our knowledge on stages and podiums, welcomed many new colleagues, competed side by side for sporting trophies and – a milestone – took an important step towards growth with the opening of the Madrid office. No review without an outlook -of course, Daniel Meyer also looked ahead to the challenges and events of the coming year.

Following the presentation, the anniversaries of Bruno Wicki (10 years), Manuel Gomez and Beat Hintermüller (20 years) and office founders Paul Lüchinger and Daniel Meyer (30 years) were celebrated. Our heartfelt congratulations and no less heartfelt thanks to all those celebrating anniversaries for their decades of commitment and dedication to our company, for their collegiality, reliability and valuable contributions to the development and multifaceted growth of our office.

Where there is so much to celebrate, socialising is a must. A lavish aperitif was a fitting end to this year’s small office retreat.
