Apprenticeship completed with flying colours

All’s well that ends well. Our apprentice Louisa Gutgsell has completed her QV with outstanding results and obtained her apprenticeship certificate as a civil engineering draughtswoman (EFZ). We offer our warmest congratulations on this well-deserved success! Louisa had long since demonstrated her exceptional skills, playing an active role in project work from an early stage. The well over 2,800 hours she spent as a draughtswoman were spread across projects in many parts of the country – from the Grand Casino du Lac in Prilly to the Pratteln headquarters and the SunLife Schindellegi, from the Amsteg industrial hall to the University Hospital of Basel and the MACH commercial building in Zurich. She supported the Brunnenrain replacement development in Zurich-Wollishofen both as a draughtswoman and as a hands-on site intern.

Her successful apprenticeship was always characterised by a particular confidence – at vocational college and the BMS, in the office, during her apprenticeship exchange at TBF + Partner AG, and in her football kit at the architects’ football tournament and Challenge Cup. At the same time, she was friendly and helpful in supporting the next intake of apprentices as they began their apprenticeships. Louisa’s immediate future now lies with the Passerelle programme, which she plans to follow with a degree. We wish her all the very best for her future!

We would also like to congratulate our exchange apprentice, Ivo Steiger from TBF + Partner AG, who has likewise achieved a very good final apprenticeship certificate.
