Swiss Arc Award 2024
The community hall in Bussy-sur-Moudon, a collaboration between our structural engineers and Emixi Architectes, was honoured with the Swiss Arc Award 2024 Audience Award! We are delighted that the timber construction gem in a rural surrounding is in the favour of the voting community. In addition to the careful detailing as well as the structural objectivity, the special role of the building as a reclaimed, community-promoting multi-purpose building, which laudator Valentin Oppliger emphasised, was certainly also convincing:
‘The approval of our readers* points out to the importance of architecture in everyday life. The modest yet ambitious community hall gives new life to Bussy-sur-Moudon and celebrates values such as community, sustainability and solidarity. Our audience has recognised this and we can only share their enthusiasm for this building, which demonstrates the power of togetherness.’
